Puttin the Pedal to the Metal...
I bought a instride cycle this week
and have been trying to cycle when I watch tv, read a book, etc. I just finished up an hour of cycling, and wow is my butt sore, lol. But I have to say, along with diet, it is starting to work pretty quickly. I'm down 2 1/2 lbs in a week, and I feel my legs and butt toning up. Being a webmistress, and having my butt planted in front of a computer all day, makes it hell on keeping your figure. But I'm sure trying to change that. Wish me luck!

Spring Fever
Wow do I have spring fever today! While most of the US is buried in snow, here in the desert it is a beautiful 60 degrees out, bright and sunny. I've spent the past few afternoons picking weeds in my backyard that the rains we had a few weeks ago caused to sprout up everywhere.
This is when I'm glad I live where I live. I could REALLY do without the 3 months of living on the sun summer, but the mild winters, wonderful springs and falls make it well worth the hell.
